Sony XPERIA Hard Reset.
This video shows how to reset Sony Xperia Smart phone.
In this video we will show you how to do soft, hard (factory) reset and how to change firmware in case of forgotten Password, PIN, Pattern drill, or if you phone freezes, not start normally, bricked after bad update, etc (Software Repair). Sony PC Companion will download and install the latest version OS on your device.

because the developers closed this door. Now the only way is with changing the firmware.
With SONY PC Companion you can update the firmware of your device and/or erase all private information inside (Include passwords). You can use this technique with every one XPERIA tablet or smartphone.
